Each month I want to share with you guys a few of my favorite things or new discoveries from the month before. For August, I wanted to share the Simple products that saved my skin in the unbearable heat this summer.
I’m naturally drawn to products that don’t contain any harsh chemicals that would dry out my skin. So the first thing that caught my eye was Simple! Just in the name, you can tell that this product was a Plain Jane without all of the extra.
So I ended up buying a moisturizer and micellar water to keep my skin clean and hydrated. The Simple moisturizer I decided on said to be a “replenishing rich moisturizer” and “kind to [the] skin.” I was completely sold on this because I was desperate to find a inexpensive moisturizer that would keep my skin hydrated without making it oily. Running around $6 to $7, I quickly added it to my cart.
Micellar water was something that I have been dying to try it after seeing it in so many magazines and commercials. It seemed like a great solution when I need to get the last little bit of makeup off at night or when I’m running late in the morning.
For the past month, I’ve been using both products consistently and loving them! The moisturizer lives up to my standards and keeps my skin hydrated with just a few drops. It goes great with my makeup and doesn’t make my skin feel like an oily mess.
The micellar water does what is says and takes away all the extra dirt and makeup that I didn’t know was still left on my face. And the best thing is, it hydrates your skin! After I had used the micellar water, I didn’t have to use a moisturizer. It left my skin super soft and hydrated for hours. I could not believe how well this product worked on my skin. Not to mention, it’s a great product to use to clean your face when you’re in a hurry. What more can you ask for?
Overall, I give Simple products major thumbs up for working so well on my skin without any harsh chemicals. The products are inexpensive and can be found at drugstores or places like Walmart. If you’re in need of new skincare products, I highly recommend this line. Also, don’t forget to leave a comment below about your thoughts on any new Simple products you’ve tried.
